Raina, Samson help India A to 297

DHAKA: Suresh Raina and Sanju Samson helped India A to set a 298-run target for Bangladesh A in the third and series decider match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The hosts scored 297 runs for six in 50 overs as Raina struck a brilliant century off just 91 balls while Samson scored 90 runs with 10 boundaries and one over boundary.

The two batsmen have constructed a good partnership for the third wicket though Bangladesh bowler Shaiful Islam managed to dismiss India A opener Mayank Agarwal early.
 
Shafiul Islam bagged two wickets while Nasir, Al-Amin, Rubel, and Arafat Sunny picked one wicket each.

Earlier, India A skipper Unmukt Chand won the toss and elected to bat against Bangladesh A in the final ODI of the series.

The IND A vs BAN A match started at 9:30am Bangladesh Time (BDST).

The three-match unofficial ODI series is currently leveled at 1-1.

India A won the first match by 92 runs courtesy a brilliant all-round show by Gurkeerat Singh Mann, who slammed a half-century an followed it up with a five-wicket haul.

Bangladesh A’s Nasir Hossain went one step further in the next match as he hit a century before taking a fifer and guiding the hosts to a series leveling win.
