Tigers need 167-run against India

DHAKA: India have scored 166-run losing six wickets from their 20-over quota against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup opener at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in city on Wednesday (February 24).

Earlier, winning the toss, Tiger captain Mashrafe Mortaza decided to field first on a greenish track.

Rohit Sharma hit a blazing 83-run off 55-ball while H Pandy’a 31-run off 18-ball helped India to score that much.

Al-Amin Hossain took three wickets while Mashrafe, Mahmudullah and Shakib Al Hasan took one wicket each.

Bangladesh need 167-run in a rate of 8.35 runs per over to win in the opening match.
