DHAKA: Scotland needed 148-run to win over Zimbabwe in the fifth match of first round in World T20 tournament in India on Thursday (March 10).

In the Group B match that started at 3:30pm at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, Zimbabwe scored 147 runs for seven wickets.

SC Williams (53 of 36 balls), R Mutumbami (19 of 17 balls) MN Waller (13 of 13 balls) and E Chigumbura (20 off 17 balls) helped Zimbabwe to set the 148-run target for Scotland.

Earlier, Hamilton Masakadza won the toss and opted to bat against Scotland.

Scotland captain Preston Mommsen, said he would have made the same decision had he won the toss.

Zimbabwe were unchanged from the side that won their tournament opener against Hong Kong. This meant that Tendai Chisoro was left out again.

Scotland made one change to their playing XI from the last game. Michael Leask was brought in for his useful offspin with Calum Macleod making way.
