DHAKA: Bangladesh suffered a 3-wkt defeat to Australia in World T20 Super 10 match at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Monday.

Chasing 157-run target, Australia reached to victory losing seven wickets.

Earlier, Australian captain won toss and decided to bowl first.

Bangladesh, though struggled in early overs losing top order batsmen, but recovered from the situation with sensational 49 runs from Mahmudullah, 33 and 23 from Shakib and Mithun respectively.

With the ball, Aussie bowlers Zampa bagged three wickets and Watson got two.
