DHAKA: Mustafizur Rahman took five wicket haul but Kane Williamson's 42 and Colin Munro's 35 helped New Zealand manage a fighting total at the Eden Gardens.

He bowled MJ Santner for 3 and Nathan MvCullum went for a golden duck. He was on a hat-trick.

Opting to bat, openers gave New Zealand a good start before Mustafizur dismissed Henry Nicholls (7) in the fourth over and Kane Williamson (42) in the ninth.

After having a successful first over, Mustafizur started his second over with a dot ball followed by a single. Four runs. Williamson played him over extra-cover boundary.

Bangladesh batsmen are facing New Zealand bowlers in their last match of Super 10 Group 2 at Eden Gardens of Kolkata in India on Saturday (March 26).

Bangladesh now needs 146 to win.
