DHAKA: Bangladeshi fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has undergone the re-test of his bowling action at Brisbane National Cricket Centre lab in Australia Thursday morning (September 8).
He sought blessing from all by posting a photo with a caption “Just finished the exams… waiting for the result. Please keep us in your prayer”.
Left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny is also in Australia for the test accompanied by Chandika Hathurusingha, head coach of national cricket team.
The results, however, will take up to three weeks to be published.
Sunny and Taskin were questioned for their bowling actions during a World T20 match against Netherlands held in India earlier this year.
Later, they were suspended from bowling as their actions during some of the deliveries found illegal after testing at Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai of India. The duo has been working on their bowling actions since then.
They are expected to return home on September 11.
