DHAKA: The fourth session of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket will begin on November 4 and its player draft on September 30.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter to media issuing a press release in this regard.
A total of seven teams will participate in the BPL where Khulna and Rajshahi are back as franchises.
Defending champion Comilla Victorians, Barisal Bulls, Rangpur Riders, Dhaka Dynamites and Chittagong Vikings will play though Sylhet Superstars has been knocked out for violating code of conduct.
Moreover, BCB invited four groups-- Gemcon Group, Mango Entertainment Limited, Tanveer Food Limited (a concern of Meghna Group of Industries) and Labaid Group-- for the franchise rights of Khulna and Rajshahi.
However, the BCB authority remarked that they will disclose the team ownership after the Eid-al-Azha.
Dhaka franchise became champion for two times and Comilla Victorians won the last one.
