DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 13-member squad for the upcoming home series against Afghanistan.
This team will play the first two matches among three match-series starting from September 25.
However, the decision came on Thursday (September 22).
Earlier, BCB announced 20 members team for Afghanistan and England series including some High-Profile (HP) squad cricketers.
However, HP cricketers were kept out of the final team. Anamul Haque, Taskin Ahmed, Mosharraf Hossain and Al-Amin also failed to get place in the final squad.
The 20-man squad resumed their training on September 20 after the Eid-ul-Azha vacation.
The Final Squad: Mashrafe Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Taijul Islam, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mosaddek Hossain Shaikat, Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman and Nasir Hossain.
