Tigers facing Afghan bowlers in series decider

DHAKA: Bangladesh are facing the bowlers of visiting Afghanistan in the third and final match of the three-match ODI series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of Dhaka on Saturday (October 1).

Tiger captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and decided to bat first in the match that kicked off at 2:30 pm local time.

The third match is the series decider as both the teams have won one match each.

Bangladesh have made two changes - Mosharraf Hossain returns in place of Taijul Islam and Shafiul Islam returns in place of Rubel Hossain in the other change while one change for Afghanistan with Samiullah Shenwari replacing Naveen-ul-Haq.

Mosharraf is playing in his first ODI in more than eight years.
