England chasing Tigers’ 238

DHAKA: Bangladesh set a 239-run target for the visiting England in their second ODI at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of Dhaka on Sunday (October 9).

Tigers scored 238 runs for 8 in the three-match Rocket Dutch-Bangla Bank Mobile Banking ODI Series.

Mahmudullah though scored the highest 75 runs, Mashrafe Mortaza’s 44 runs off 37 ball and Nasir Hossain’s not out 27 runs helped finally build Bangladesh the reasonable score.

Earlier, England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bowl first in the match that began at 2:30pm local time.

Nasir Hossain is put in for Bangladesh in preference to Mosharraf Hossain that raised hope for Bangladesh.
