England beat Bangladesh in 2-1 ODI series

CHITAGONG: The visiting England won 2-1 ODI series against Bangladesh after chasing the Tigers’ 277-run in the decider match on Wednesday (October 12).

Earlier, England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and invited home team to bat first in the last match of Rocket Dutch Bangla Bank Limited Series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in port city Chittagong.

England won by 4-wickets with 13 balls to spare. CR Woakes (27*) hit six to seal victory. SW Billings and BM Duckett scored 62 each and BA Stokes 47.

Earlier, Mushfiqur scored not out 67, Mosaddek not out 38, Sabbir 49, Kayes 46 and Tamim took 45 runs to make the grand total 277 for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh beat England by 34 runs in the second ODI on October 9 while England won by 21 runs in the first one on October 7 at Mirpur Sher-e Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
