CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh lost last five wickets on the third day morning adding only 27-run with their overnight score of 221-run in response to visiting England’s first innings score of 293-run at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Saturday (October 22).
Bangladesh lost their last six wickets for 27-run and have been left with a sizeable deficit of 45-run as Ben Stokes makes mincemeat of the lower order picking up four wickets.
Besides, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid and GJ Batty took three, two and one wicket respectively.
Earlier on the second day, Tamim Iqbal scored 78-run setting up a nice base that other Bangladesh batsmen failed to exploit properly.
Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Imrul Kayes and debutant Sabbir Rahman scored 48, 38, 31, 21 and 19 runs respectively.
Currently, England are batting in their second innings.
