DHAKA: Bangladesh have started batting Sunday morning as England took 285-run lead in their second innings on the fourth day of the first Test at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
England lost all wickets in the final innings to score 240 runs. Stokes’ 85 and JM Bairstow’s 47, however, helped the visitors make the score.
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan bagged five wickets while Taijul Islam picked up two wickets.
Earlier, Bangladesh scored 248 runs in response to visiting England’s first innings score of 293-run.
