DHAKA: Bangladesh have included uncapped pace bowler Subashis Roy and all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain in the 15-man squad for the upcoming second Test against visiting England to be played in Dhaka.
Fast bowler Shafiul Islam, who was wicketless in the first Test has been rested.
Twenty seven years old Subashis Roy has picked 136 wickets in 51 first-class matches while Mosaddek has already played five One-Day Internationals and one Twenty20 International.
In the five ODI appearances, Mosaddek has scored 116 runs at an average of 38.66 and picked up five wickets.
Chief selector Minhazul Abedin said Shafiul was given time off while Mosaddek was included to provide cover to Sabbir Rahman, who is unwell after the first Test in Chittagong.
The second test match will be played between October 28 and November 1 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka.
Visiting England have taken a 1-0 lead in the two-match Rocket Test Series.
