DHAKA: Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina directed local administration to build a house for Bangladesh National Cricket Team all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz.
The instruction has already been sent to Khulna district administration, PM’s deputy press secretary Ashraful Alam Khokon told Banglanews on Wednesday (November 2).
He said PM’s principal secretary Abul Kalam Azad informed Khulna deputy commissioner (DC) about her directive.
“The local administration will find out suitable land for building the house for Miraz,” Khokon added.
On October 30, Miraz was made Man of the series for bagging 19 wickets in the 2-Test match series against visiting England. He was also adjudged Man of the Match for the historic win in the second test where he picked up 12 wickets.
