FROM MIRPUR: The second day match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2016 fourth edition between Barisal Bulls-Chittagong Vikings has been called off due to excessive rain.
The referees made the declaration around 4:10pm Saturday (November 5).
It has been drizzling from the morning in city due to the deep depression over Northwest Bay and adjoining areas that forced to halt the first match of second day.
However, the organizers and game lovers are expecting action for the next game between Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Dynamites.
On Friday (November 5), the two matches, Comilla Victorians-Rajshahi Kings and Khulna Titans-Rangpur Riders, of the first day have been called off due to persisting rain of the city.
The matches were scheduled to be held on Friday (November 4) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
