DHAKA: The captain of Bangladesh cricket team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal have received ‘tax card’ becoming the highest taxpayers in player category.

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith handed over the ‘tax card’ to the cricketers at National Revenue Building in city’s Agargaon area on Thursday (November 24).

After receiving the prize, Mashrafe told that everyone should pay their fixed tax. The people would be encouraged to pay their taxes seeing their action. This should do their duty for the development of our country.

Industry minister Amir Hossain Amu, National Board of Revenue (NBR) chairman Nazibur Rahman, state minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan were also present at the event.
