DHAKA: Chittagong Vikings batsmen have scored 134-run losing six wickets from their 20-over against Dhaka Dynamites in the 38th Match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)-2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka on Friday (December 2).

Vikings’ captain Tamim Iqbal struck a fine 74-run off 59-ball. This was his fourth half century in this edition of BPL.

Besides, Shoaib Malik scored 33-run while none other could reach in the double figure, resulting in so small total.

DJ Bravo picked up three wickets giving away only 27-run. RR Beaton took two wickets while AD Russell took one wicket.

Earlier, Dynamites captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and invited Vikings to bat first in the match that began at 6:15 pm.

Dhaka Dynamites are the toppers with 14 points while Chittagong Vikings are second with 12 points in the table.

In their earlier meet in this season, Dynamites beat Vikings by 19-run.

However, the overall top scorer in this edition of BPL so far is Vikings’ captain Tamim Iqbal (351) till today’s match while the top wicket grabber is also a Viking, Mohammad Nabi (17).
