DHAKA: Dhaka Dynamites beat Chittagong Vikings by 6-Wicket in the 38th Match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)-2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka on Friday (December 2).
The Dynamites batsmen chased down the target of 135-run in 18.2-over losing only four wickets.
Sangakkara, Alauddin Babu and AD Russell scored 35, 33 and 31 runs respectively helping Dhaka to win the match comfortably.
Mohammad Nabi, Shoaib Malik and Imran Khan (1) took one wicket each in the match.
Earlier, Dynamites captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and invited Vikings to bat first in the match that began at 6:15 pm.
Vikings batsmen scored 134-run losing six wickets from their 20-over. Captain Tamim Iqbal struck a fine 74-run off 59-ball. This was his fourth half century in this edition of BPL.
Besides, Shoaib Malik scored 33-run while none other could reach in the double figure, resulting in so small total.
DJ Bravo picked up three wickets giving away only 27-run. RR Beaton took two wickets while AD Russell took one wicket.
Dhaka Dynamites are the toppers with 16 points while Chittagong Vikings are second with 12 points in the table.
