Rajshahi Kings need 126-run to go into final

DHAKA: Khulna Titans batsmen have scored 125-run losing nine wickets from their 20-over quota against Rajshahi Kings in the second qualifier match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)-2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka Wednesday (December 7).

Ariful Haque, Mahmudullah, N Pooran, BAC Howell and Abdul Mazid scored 32, 22, 22, 12 and 11 runs respectively.

Samit Patel picked up three Titans wickets for Rajshahi while Kesrick Williams, Farhad Reza and Afif Hossain took one wicket each to restrict Khulna in such a low total.

Earlier, Khulna Titans captain Mahmudullah Riyad won the toss and elected to bat first.

The winning team will play against Dhaka Dynamites in the final match of the fourth edition of Bangladesh’s franchise cricket.
