DHAKA: Host New Zealand eked out 8-wicket win in the third match of three-match one day international (ODI) series with 52-ball to spare to complete a 3-0 whitewash over Bangladesh cricket team.
Batting first, the visiting team scored 236-run losing nine wickets from their 50-over quota.
Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan made 59, 44, 44, 19 and 18 runs respectively helping the team score the respectable total.
M Henry and MJ Santner picked up two wickets each while TG Southee, JS Patel, JDS Neesham, KS Williamson took one wicket each.
In response, Kiwi batsmen chased down the target easily. Neil Broom scored 97-run of 97-ball while captain Kane Williamson produced a fine innings of 95-run not out.
Only Mustafizur Rahman picked up the two New Zealand wickets that fell.
Kane Williamson was adjudged the player of the match.
