DHAKA: Host India beat Bangladesh by 208 runs in the one-off test at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Monday (February 13).
Bangladesh lost all wickets scoring 250-run in 100.3 overs in the second innings after India declared their second innings at 159/4 and set a target of 459-run ahead of the tourists in four sessions.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja picked up four wickets each while Ishant Sharma took two.
Of the Bangladesh batsmen, Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan scored 64, 42, 27, 23, 23, 22 and 22 runs each.
Earlier, India scored a mammoth first innings total of 687/6 (declared) after one hour of the tea break on Day 2. In their response, visitors scored 388-run losing all wickets.
Later, India scored 159-run (declared) losing four wickets and set a target of 459-run.
Bangladesh lost their last wicket in the extended second session of the last day of the match.
India skipper Virat Kohli was adjudged the player of the match for his scintillating double hundred.
