DHAKA: Sri Lanka set a 312-run target for the visiting Bangladesh in their second ODI of the 3-match series on Tuesday.
They lost all wickets to score 311 runs at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.
Earlier in the day, Sri Lanka captain Tharanga won the toss in his 200th ODI and chooses to bat first.
Kusal Mendis took the highest 102 runs from 107 balls while Upul Tharanga contributed with 65 from 76. The second and third wicket stands of 111 and 83 helped the hosts cross 300 finally.
Taskin halted the host by his brilliant hat-trick.
Tigers, however, have to win the match to bag the series while it’s a must win game for Sri Lanka to survive.
Bangladesh took lead the series by 1-0 beating Sri Lanka by 90 runs in the first match on March 25 at Dumbulla.
