DHAKA: Police submitted charge sheet against national cricket team player Arafat Sunny in a case filed against him under Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.

The charge sheet was presented at the court of Magistrate Masud Zaman on in presence of the accused Sunny on Thursday (April 6).  

Earlier on March 22, Mohammadpur Police Station Sub-Inspector and also investigating officer of the case Mohammad Yahia submitted the charge sheet at CMM (Chief Metropolitan Magistrate) court in Dhaka. 

One Nasrin Sultana who claims herself as the wife of Sunny filed the case under ICT Act with Mohammadpur Police Station on January 5.

Police arrested him from Aminbazar area in Savar, on the outskirts of capital, on January 22.

Sunny was released in bail on March 15 after serving 53 days in jail.
