The Bangladesh and Ireland match in the tri-nation series at Malahide in Dublin has been halted due to rain.
Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan returned to the pavilion, as he was the fourth wicket to fall for Bangladesh in the match.
Ireland’s Peter Chase picked up his third wicket when he sent back Shakib to leave Bangladesh struggling at 70 for 4 inside 15 overs.
Bangladesh lost its first wicket in the beginning of the match when Soumya Sarkar was caught at 8/1 after 1.5 overs.
Later, Peter Chase gave Ireland their second breakthrough when he sent back Sabbir Rahman to leave Bangladesh in a spot of bother at 9/2 in 3.2 overs.
Mushfiqur Rahim was the third wicket to fall for Bangladesh.
Earlier, Ireland captain William Porterfield won the toss and decided to field first against Bangladesh.
