DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director and former captain of Bangladesh national cricket team Khaled Mahmud Sujon was taken to Singapore early Tuesday (August 1) for better treatment.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon told Banglanews that Sujon’s physical condition was good, but abroad treatment was arranged as he is not totally out of fear of further illness.
The air ambulance carrying the former tiger skipper left for Singapore at around 12:50am.
Family sources said that Sujon will be admitted to Parkway East Hospital in Singapore.
However, BCB sources said that he will be taken to Gleneagles Hospital there.
Earlier, on Saturday night (July 29), Sujon was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital and later shifted to United Hospital Dhaka Sunday morning (July 30) where he was kept at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
