DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 14-member squad for the first test of the much-awaited two-match Test series against visiting Australia.
Tiger all-rounder Nasir Hossain and pacer Shafiul Islam were included in the squad as the announcement came from BCB office in Mirpur at 02:00pm Saturday (August 19).
Besides, ace batsmen Mahmudullah Riyad and Mominul Haque were dropped in the squad against the Aussies.
The Australia tour, however, has made an occasion to be rapturous for the fandom of Nasir Hossain as the player got his place in the test squad after almost two years.

On August 27, the first test will kick-off at Mirpur stadium.
The second and last test will be played at Chittagong on September 4-8.
