CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh resumed batting in the first innings of the second Test against Australia on second day at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Tuesday (Sep 2).

The Tigers resumed the innings with their overnight collection of 253/6 in 90 overs.

The overnight 7th pair between skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and all-rounder Nasir Hossain came to crease with their unbeaten score of 62 and 19 runs respectively.

On day one on Monday (Sep 5), Bangladesh made a nice comeback after skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman notched up a partnership of 105 runs. After being reduced to 117/5, the home side needed a partnership.
