CHITTAGONG: The unbeaten partnership of Warner and Handscomb has come to an end as Australia lost Handscomb through a run out thanks to the direct hit by Shakib Al Hasan.
Australia scored 260 for three wickets as tigers mounting more pressure around them.
Play resumed on the third day of the second Test between Bangladesh and Australia at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong after more than three hours of delay on Wednesday.
Rain washed out the entire opening session, limiting the day’s play to maximum 67 overs.
Warner and Handscomb shared an unbeaten partnership in the third wicket as Australia reached 225-2 at stumps, replying to Bangladesh’s first innings total of 305 runs on Tuesday (Sep 5).
Warner was on 88 with Handscomb on 69 as the visitors were trailing Bangladesh by 80 runs in their first innings.
Bangladesh lead the two-match series after winnings the first Test by 20 runs in Dhaka.
