DHAKA: Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has reached Dubai to join World XI to play Twenty20 match of the three-match series against Pakistan's national team.

On Saturday midnight (September 09), dashing Tamim Iqbal departed for Dubai from Dhaka.

Cricketers of World XI have gathered in Dubai to catch Pakistani plane.

The World XI will play three Twenty20 Internationals for the Independence Cup against Pakistan at Gaddafi stadium in Lahore on 12, 13 and 15 September.

Following a terrorist attack on a bus-carrying Sri lankan team in 2009, international cricket event is going to be held on Pakistan’s soil after long seven years of international cricket suspension.

Bangladeshi audience has access to this series through private satellite TV channels-Gazi TV and GTV.
