DHAKA: Bangladesh lost the series as the host South Africa won the second test also by an innings and 254 runs on Sunday.
Kagiso Rabada took his second five-wicket haul of the test as Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 172 runs in its second innings after following on.
Rabada completed with 5-30 in the innings and 10-63 for the match.
South Africa who clinched a comfortable 2-0 series win with huge victories never lost a test to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh earlier was all out for 147 in its first innings on Day 2 in reply to South Africa's 573-4 declared.
As Bangladesh skipper Mustafizur Rahim chose to bowl first on both the games, South Africa took advantage in Bloemfontein.
South Africa beat Bangladesh in the first test at Potchefstroom by 333 runs.
Mahmudullah top-scored for Bangladesh with 43, but the top order failed to work again.
