Earlier in the day, Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first against South Africa in the first of the three ODIs at Kimberley.
Opener Tamim Iqbal, fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman have been ruled out of the match. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Mohammad Saifuddin, a seam-bowling all-rounder, debuted in ODIs.
