CHITTAGIONG: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has given three new microbuses to facilitate the transportation of women’s cricket team in Chittagong.
The latest arrangements were made by BCB after several news media including Banglanews reported that tigresses were being taken to stadium for practice session using a local city service bus in the morning.
Even though, women players took the bus from Tower In hotel in the morning, they came back to the hotel by new microbuses in the afternoon, said BCB Chittagong venue manager Fazle Rabbi.
Meanwhile, the women’s team is scheduled to leave Chittagong today as their tour has been cut short. The change was made so that they can attend a reception ceremony hosted by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday (June 21), he said.
The tigresses went to Chittagong on June 18 for practicing at Zahur Ahmed Stadium.
