DHAKA: University of Dhaka (DU), the highest echelon of academic excellence, has also joined Facebook, the largest social connecting website.

DU vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the official Facebook page of DU on Thursday.

The page will be found by clicking www.facebook.com/univdhaka.ac.bd address.

Furthermore, after introducing the page, the DU VC along with the DU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Prof Mofizur Rahman of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism wishes best of luck to the university through the newly introduced page.
