DHAKA: Robi Axiata Limited has started to hand over the packages of iPhone 6, the latest Apple handset, to its pre-booked customers.
The mobile phone operator inaugurated the handover early Thursday through a program held at Robi Seba Kendro in city’s Gulshan.
Earlier, Robi customers were allowed to pre-book the latest Apple handset series till November 19 for the first phase. Customers pre-booked their purchase of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus by visiting http://www.robi.com.bd/en/current-offers/robi-iphone6/prebook website apart from by visiting any of the Robi Seba Kendro.
Under this offer, Robi customers have chances to buy iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in installments.
In this package, customers can buy iPhone 6 (16 GB) at Tk 73,825 with a monthly installment payment option worth Tk 5,319 for 12 months.
iPhone 6 (64GB) is priced at Tk 85,200 with a monthly installment payment option worth Tk 6,267 for 12 months.
On the other hand, customers have to pay Tk 85,200 for iPhone 6 Plus (16 GB) with a monthly installment payment option worth Tk 6, 267 for 12 months.
The down payment for all items is BDT 10,000.
Subscribers can choose from a wide choice of Gold, Space Gray or Silver coloured iphones. Besides, free flip cover will be provided with each purchase of iPhone.
Not only that, the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users will also get free 1 GB data which will be valid for 30 days.
Amex and EBL are the bank partners of Robi to execute the offer.
Regarding the matter, Robi executive vice president Tofail Rashid told banglanews that people have been being more interested to use faster internet since the inaguaral of 3G service in the country.
As well as, according to him, interests of using smartphones also been developed gradually to the people.
“Robi is always keen to satisfy customers’ demand and need and in this regard we have brought the latest Apple handset to the people for the first time in Bangladesh.”
He has also mentioned that the mobile operator will also provide one year service warranty to the customers and authorized dealers.
Earlier the operator brought attractive offer for iPhone 5s also.
