Robi ‘smartphone-tab fair’ attracts visitors

DHAKA: The telecommunication company Robi’s ‘Smartphone and Tab Expo-2015’ has drawn attention of visitors on the first day on Thursday.

They came along with their parents, friends and relatives and were searching for their expected one.

Information and Communication Technology state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the three-day fair this morning.

Engineer of Cultimax Energy Riazul Alam bought seven Lenovo tab for his office as they were within his budget.

Sanjoy, who got A+ in HSC examination, also came with his mother to buy a new tab that his mother promised to give him a prize for his good result.

This year, Robi Axiata Limited sponsored the fair where Elite mobile, Goldbarg, Huwai, Samsung, Stylus, Symphony and ZTE participated as cosponsored.

Moreover, Edumaker, Elite Force, Peoples Radio 91.6 FM and Tecshohor.com have been attending the fair as cosponsors.

The fair will remain open from 10.00am to 8:00pm everyday. The entry fee is Tk 20 for each, but students can visit the fair for free.

The organizers have set a mega pavilion, 13 pavilions, five mini pavilions and 10 stalls in the exposition.

However, Bangladesh Liberation War related website ‘jonmojuddho.com’ and organizing company Expo Maker jointly took the initiative to show the exclusive pictures and videos of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
