DHAKA: State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim said subscribers will be facilitated in getting services of all operators by using a SIM card from February next year.

She came up with this assertion while talking to the media at her secretariat office in city on Wednesday.

According to her, the service might begin before the speculated time.

Through this facility, the subscribers can change their current operator by paying Tk 30 and get the service from the new operator for 40 days, she added.

Tarana Halim went on saying, “Fair competition would be emerged among mobile phone operators after introducing Mobile Number Portability (MNP) services”.

Subscribers will also get desired services from the operators, the minister assured.
