DHAKA: Bangladesh’s leading mobile phone operator Grameenphone (GP) has announced to introduce helpline for children, first of its kind in the country.

The Child Helpline aims to assist children, who are risky condition.

The service will be available after dialing 1098 from any GP number.

An agreement in this regard has been signed between Grameenphone and UNICEF at a city hotel Monday afternoon.

High-ups of the organizations were present at the signing ceremony.
