DHAKA: Country’s largest mobile phone operator Grameenphone (GP) has introduced a new program to assist the ‘startup’ entrepreneurs in the country’s information and communications technology (ICT).

SD Asia will cooperate in the ‘GP Accelerator’ program.

The organizations made this announcement at a press conference at Krishibid Institute Auditorium in city’s Farmgate area on Tuesday afternoon.

Officials of the organizations said that they will provide financial assistance to the entrepreneurs in implementing their ideas in ICT and telecommunications sectors.

They hoped that their introduced program will also provide a platform for the development of startup enterprises.

Earlier, the GP and SD Asia had signed an agreement in this regard, the speakers added.
