2-day Career Festival kicks off in city

DHAKA: A two-day Career Festival-2016 has started on the campus of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in city’s Mirpur area on Wednesday (January 13).

A score of 27 institutions have partaken in this festival, jointly organized by bdJobs and MIST.

MIST commandant Major General Mohammad Abdul Kadir inaugurated the festival this morning.
 
Employment for fresh graduates from MIST and Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) are arranged through the event.

CEO of bdJobs A.K.M Shahin Mashruh, MIST Group Captain Abdus Salam, Naval Captain Mohammad Momin Hasan and others were present at the opening ceremony of the festival.

Shahin Masruh has asserted that the festival is being held for the fourth time. This kind of initiatives will continue as well. Any graduate can drop their CV (curriculum vitae) to participate in the festival.

Last year, about 1000 job hunters partook in this event. Among them, 33 individuals got job.
