DHAKA: WowBox, a one-stop lifestyle app for Grameenphone users, organized a special campaign called “WowBus” to help people reach their desired destinations.

It will slightly reduce the trouble of not getting tickets on time and extended travel hours, and will make Eid more enjoyable for all, said a press release on Monday (July 4).

The tagline of WowBox, developed by Telenor Digital, is bringing smiles to people. The campaign started on the June 19 and ended on June 27.

After public polling, Sylhet came up as the place that people wanted to go to by popular vote. After the destination was decided, a facebook contest was held, from which 32 participants were selected to be taken on their journey home to Sylhet by WowBus on July 3.

WowBox gift hampers were also given to make their Eid more memorable, in addition to, Pran gift hampers were also given to the participants traveling in the bus.
