Deputy Governor and advisors of the central bank of Bangladesh somehow managed to escape through back door amid demonstration staged by the general people.

The officials of Bangladesh Bank were protesting against its top officials and advisors for looting, usurping, providing unethical benefits and supporting various irregularities in the banking sector.

The incident took place on Tuesday (July 7) at 10 am.

The officials said that they started the agitation around 10:30 am. After that, the officials took position on the fourth floor of the Bangladesh Bank's Governor's building, chanting 'Bhua Bhua'.

At this time, Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar, Khorshed Alam, Dr. Habibur Rahman including a few advisors appointed on contract basis left the office.

Another Deputy Governor Kazi Saidur Rahman has resigned from the job but is stuck at Bangladesh Bank, the agitating officers are standing under the 30-storey building and shouting various slogans.
