NARAYANGANJ: A delegation of Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) visited the Bashundhara Cement Factory in Narayanganj Saturday.

The delegation praised for using the most modern technology in producing cement and asked the authorities concerned in ensuring the quality production.

The director of the HBRI Engineer M Abu Sadek led the team.

Principal researcher Engineer Abdus Salam, senior research executive Akhter Hossain Sarker, senior research executive Rizia Begum and research engineer Dr Mustafizur Rahman were among others present on the occasion.

Officials of Bashundhara Cement factory received the HBRI delegation at the factory.

Later, head of plant Engineer Shamsuddin explained them about specialty of Bashundhara Cement and its production, machineries used in production, raw materials and quality controlling methods.

Assistant general manager of Bashundhara Cement (Technical Support) Saroj Kumar Barua, head of director (electrical) Laxman Kumar Dey, senior executive (technical support) Kudrat-e-Elahi, assistant executive (technical support) Mohammad Asaduzzaman, additional chief engineer Sirajul Haque, Shafiuddin and KM Musfiq Alam were among others present on the occasion.
