DHAKA: The Vice-President of World Bank (South Asia) Philippe Le Houérou will come to visit Bangladesh on Friday.

Local office sources of the World Bank said that the main objective of the visit is to strengthen the longstanding relationship between Bangladesh and World Bank.

He also will hold a meeting with government high officials as well as business and civil society leaders of the country.

Moreover, he is also likely to visit some of the projects financed by the organization.

Earlier, in July, 2013, he visited Dhaka.
