DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 18 point to stand at 4,448 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 83,337with transaction at Tk 3,760 million. Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 139 declined and 31 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 308 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, MPETROLEUM, ACI, MJLBD, DELTALIFE, BSRMSTEEL, HEIDELBCEM, MERCANBANK and SQURPHARMA .

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8468 by dropping over zero points.

Out of the issues traded, 69 gained, 119 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
