DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index, DSEX, shed over 71 points to stand at 4,325 at 12:20pm.

Trade deals stood at 32,249 with volume of transactions at Tk 1,534 million.

Of the issues traded, 43 advanced, 185 declined and 34 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 264 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8284 by dropping over 89 points at about 12:09pm.

Out of the issues traded, 22 gained, 101 declined and eight remained unchanged.
