DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Monday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 69 points to stand at 4,415 at the close on the second trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 91,126 with transaction at Tk 4,205 million. Of the issues traded, 211 advanced, 65 declined and 18 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 329 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSRMSTEEL, GP , MJLBD, GPHISPAT, EHL, UNIQUEHRL, MPETROLEUM, SQURPHARMA and GENNEXT.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8365 by gaining over 102 points.

Out of the issues traded, 147 gained, 55 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
