NEW YORK: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed is set to meet Michael Froman to talk about GSP issue in Washington DC on Wednesday.

Froman is the International Trade and Investment related Principal Advisor, Negotiator and Spokesperson of the US president Barack Obama.

Diplomatic sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Sources said that the industry associations such as IRF, RILA, AAFA, RCC and other representative teams in Washington, are also scheduled to have a meeting with Tofail Ahmed on Wednesday morning.

The commerce minister will arrive in Washington DC on Wednesday.

Later, he is expected to have a dinner at the residence of embassy’s commercial council.
