DHAKA: Country’s stock market marked gain in its price indices on Wednesday.

 The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over nine points only to stand at 4,411 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 89273 with volume of transactions at Tk 4,373 million.

Of the issues traded, 151 advanced, 105 declined and 39 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 404 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, SQURPHARMA, MJLBD, BSRMSTEEL, GENNEXT, EHL, BSCCL, MPETROLEUM and OLYMPIC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,411 by gaining over 50 points.

Out of the issues traded, 98 gained, 81 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
