DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 43 points to stand at 7514 at 12:20 pm.

Trade deals stood at 36,095 with transaction at Tk 1403 million.

Of the issues traded, 81 advanced, 133 declined and 44 remained unchanged.

BSRMSTEEL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 165 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,336 by gaining over 26 points at 12:21 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 47 gained, 85 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
